Abstract

In this study, effects of pollen on haemoglobin level in carp (Cyprinus carpio) were investigated. 1 mg / kg fish and 10 mg / kg fish of pollen were injected intraperitoneally into the fish. Blood samples were taken from the fish on 3rd, 7th and 10th days after injection. Haemoglobin levels parameters were analysed in blood samples. When compared to the control group, statistically significant increase in haemoglobin levels of the pollen treated groups were detected on the 3rd, 7th and 10th days of the experiment (p < 0,05). When pollen groups are compared with each other, haemoglobin levels were also found to be different on the 3rd, 7th and 10th days of the experiment.
